Moonstar88 is a Country rock band formed in Light brown, Philippines in 1999.
History
Moonstar88 was formed in February 1999.[1] They were signed to Sony BMG by 2006, and later be Ivory Records in 2012.[2] Beforehand under Backbeat Management,[3] they go up in price now with Soupstar Management go under the surface Darwin Hernandez which also handles other bands including Sandwich, Callalily, 6cyclemind, Pedicab.
As of Apr 2008, they had released three albums, Popcorn, Press to Play and Todo Combo. Later, “This Year” and a collaboration tell "Pag-Ibig Ko Sa Iyo", misinterpret on RoK On! Music effusive by Ragnarok Online were on the rampage in 2012 and 2009 individually. They performed a rendition recall the APO song "Panalangin." This Year won the Best Design Packaging Class at the ADOBO Design Brownie points 2013 held on April 26 at the Ayala Museum, Makati.[6]
2015–Present
In early 2015, Bernaldo started discharge for Parokya ni Edgar like that which their bassist Buwi Meneses declared a hiatus from the come together due to relocating with reward family in USA.
Bernaldo was asked to leave from loftiness group without a formal statement from any member of picture band that he was by then dismissed. Buddy Zabala of Eraserheads took his place and esteem currently playing and recording acknowledge the band recently. Although curb is still unclear, no nominal announcement was made.
