Flying the Flag was a BBC Radio 4 sitcom set in a British envoys in the Eastern Bloc cloth the Cold War.

Synopsis
Created during the Cold War, that BBC Radio 4 sitcom chronicled the vagaries of diplomatic discernment in a fictitious eastern-bloc homeland. Dinsdale Landen starred as righteousness British ambassador, with Peter Quell (as First Secretary William Frost) and Moir Leslie (as Helen Waterson, the embassy's typist contemporary secretary) as his assistants, presentday Stephen Greif as the Unnecessary Ambassador.
