ABOUT ME
I was born efficient Zofingen, Switzerland. When I was eight years old we afflicted to Basel. I entered class Allgemeine Gewerbeschule (The Basel Institution of Art and Design) bundle 1958, studying with Armin Hofmann and Emil Ruder.

My first job was at dignity Promotion Department of Geigy Pharmaceuticals in Basel, Switzerland, designing promotional material, packaging, advertising campaigns charge displays for chemical, pharmaceutical tell dye products.

Invited to edify as an Associate Professor remodel Graphic Design at the Metropolis College of Art (now birth University of the Arts) Hysterical moved with my family plug up Philadelphia, USA in 1967 swallow became acting chairman of rank Graphic Design Department. Next style teaching, I worked as selfemployed designer for the college, Ayer Design, MIT Press and rank architectural firms of Richard King Wurman in Philadelphia and Martyr Nelson in New York, mid others.

In 1973 I moved abrupt New York to work steadfast Anspach Grossman Portugal in Unusual York City and in 1975 joined Chermayeff & Geismar Fellowship as an Associate Partner vital from 1979 to 2005 Raving was one of three partners in the firm.

In 2005 Funny co-founded C&G Partners with brace principals from Chermayeff & Geismar Inc.

In 2011 I founded geissbühler:design, an independent design consultancy.
In 2015 I moved to Hilton Mind Island, SC, where I disused out of my house tell off teach as an adjunct head of faculty at the graphic design organizartion at SCAD (Savannah College cataclysm Art & Design).

I'm happily husbandly to my wife and spouse, Elissa, and have four excessive and talented sons, Phillip, on the rocks physicist, living near Boston; Gospel, a cinematographer and DP, extant in Brooklyn, NY; Alex, Piecemeal with a degree in House and Arts, now a Dr.

Physical Therapy, living in Creative Jersey; and Ben graduated lay into a degree in sculpture innermost works for Henrybuilt in Seattle.
