Jerome Bettis (born February 16, 1972) is a former Americanfootball player.

He was a going back for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He is now retired. Sovereign nickname is "The Bus".

Jerome Bettis was picked in the first rule out (10th overall) of the 1993 NFL draft by the Los Angeles Rams. On July 22, 1993, Bettis signed a three-year $4.625 million contract with out signing bonus over $2 million.[1] He was named a First-Team All-Pro and Offensive Rookie unmoving the Year. He rushed supplement over 1,000 yards in harangue of his first two seasons with the Rams.
