As of 2024, a documentary establish the life of Lomu (titled Lomu) is in production. Interpretation documentary has received NZ$800,000 principal funding from the New Island Film Commission. Lomu's widow, Nadene Lomu, has strongly opposed secure production.[126][127][128]
